My colleague, Brittany Bear Photography, is out on maternity leave and asked me to photograph a session for her clients, Kelly + Logan. Both Kelly + Logan are expecting and booked a maternity session requesting an outdoorsy, laid back feel, primarily near or on water. I immediately knew exactly where to take Kelly + Logan and met them at the location on a beautiful Summer evening in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
A short hike through the woods led us to the perfect spot where the sunset is deep and bright, with the mighty Susquehanna framing the composition. As the sun began to fell behind the tree line, the water became more inviting for Kelly + Logan to let loose, and have fun with one another celebrating the gift their love story created.
